Pricing FAQ
Is there a free plan?
Free usage, refreshed monthly. Input, output, and cached-input usage, plus web searches and page fetches, all draw from the same free allowance at their applicable rates. Available usage depends on the models and features you use. The allowance refreshes each calendar month; unused allowance expires and does not accumulate. API projects use purchased credits only.
How does the referral bonus work?
The planned $5 registration referral bonus is on the roadmap. It is not available in the current release.
Can I use the free credit or a subscription with the API?
No. API projects run on pay-as-you-go credit only. (Subscription usage covers app chat and the VS Code extension; the free monthly credit covers app chat only.) Top up from $10 in your dashboard; purchased credits never expire.
How do subscription plans work?
Each plan includes a set amount of kryyt usage per billing period — Starter $5, Plus $12, Power $20 — released evenly through the period so you always have usage available. Part of any unused daily and weekly allowance carries forward within the period; whatever remains expires when the period ends.
What happens when my plan's usage runs out?
If you also hold pay-as-you-go credit, kryyt asks for your permission before using it, and the interface clearly shows when prepaid credit is being spent. Nothing is charged silently.
Can I share credits with my team?
Yes — purchased pay-as-you-go credits can be shared with individuals or groups, with daily, weekly, monthly, or lifetime limits per person. Free and subscription credits can't be shared.

Can I cancel or change plans?
Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and plan changes are prorated. Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — see the refund policy for details.
